SAMSUNG RECALLED NEWLY LAUNCHED GALAXY NOTE 7 DUE TO BATTERY PROBLEM

Smartphone giants Samsung, has recalled its flagship product, Galaxy Note 7. The device was recalled due to fire-prone batteries which were reported to have caught fire while charging.
According to Reuters report, the head of the South Korean company’s smartphone business, Koh Dong-jin, spoke at a news conference, where he expressed regret at the recall, which will affect markets including South Korea and the US, but not China, where models feature a different battery.
The recalled came just over two weeks after the launch of the Note 7 into the market.
Samsung said it has halted the sales of the product  after discovering the defect with the battery.
The company’s executive said that 2.5 million Galaxy Note 7s have been sold so far and that all will be replaced with a new product regardless of when and where they were purchased.
According to CNN reports, South Korean news agency Yonhap had previously reported that there have been five claims around the world of Note 7s catching fire while charging.
But Samsung, said that it had been alerted to 35 cases worldwide and that it had so far discovered 24 devices to be faulty.
The smartphone giants had enjoyed an edge against its competition Apple, with 22 per cent as against 12 per cent of Apple’s.
IDC said that Samsung was hoping that Galaxy Note 7 was going to keep the sales momentum into second half of the year.

Google Updating Gmail with new security warnings:

Google has announced that it's introducing a couple of new security warnings in its email service Gmail. Starting this week, an email that can’t be authenticated with either Sender Policy Framework (SPF) or DKIM will contain a red-colored question mark in place of the sender’s avatar.

Moving on, if the email contains link to a malicious site known for phishing, malware, and Unwanted Software, Google will show you a full-page warning when you click on the link.

Warning – visiting this web site may harm your computer!

While the first change will be available on both the Web and Android, the second warning will only show up on Gmail's Web client. Another thing worth mentioning here is that the search giant makes it clear that a warning should not be taken as an absolute confirmation that the email in question is malicious or dangerous."But we encourage you to be extra careful about replying to, or clicking on links in messages that you’re not sure about," the company said in a blog post. "And with these updates, you’ll have the tools to make these kinds of decisions."
Galaxy Note 7 with 6GB RAM, 128GB Storage officially confirmed.

Samsung Mobile President Koh Dong-jin was asked about the rumored Galaxy Note7 with upgraded memory - 6GB RAM and 128GB storage - and he shed light on the matter.
The tricked out version is initially targeting China, where Koh says local makers are offering stiff competition with phones with high-capacity storage out of the box.
“We will accept diverse opinions from various regions and also consider whether that move will disappoint Korean consumers,” he added.
By the sound of it, Samsung is talking to carriers to gauge if there's demand for a 6GB/128GB version of the Galaxy Note7. After all, demand for the current version is "outstanding".
So much so, in fact, that Samsung is having issues cranking out enough units. It already postponed the launch in Malaysia, but delays are expanding.

The retail launch of the Note7 in Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxemburg) is being pushed back by a week, from September 2 to the 9. Unfortunately, the delay isn't to bring in the 128GB model, there just aren't enough 64GB units to go around. North America is rolling ahead with the August 19 launch.

WHAT IS A BUSINESS PLAN

What is a business plan?

A business plan is a written description of your business's future, a document that tells what you plan to do and how you plan to do it. If you jot down a paragraph on the back of an envelope describing your business strategy, you've written a plan or at least the germ of a plan.

Now that you understand why you need a business plan and you've spent some time doing your homework gathering the information you need to create one, it's time to roll up your sleeves and get everything down on paper. The following pages will describe in detail the seven essential sections of a business plan: what you should include, what you shouldn't include, how to work the numbers and additional resources you can turn to for help. With that in mind, jump right in.

Executive Summary
Within the overall outline of the business plan, the executive summary will follow the title page. The summary should tell the reader what you want. This is very important. All too often, what the business owner desires is buried on page eight. Clearly, state what you're asking for in the summary.

Business Description
The business description usually begins with a short description of the industry. When describing the industry, discuss the present outlook as well as future possibilities. You should also provide information on all the various markets within the industry, including any new products or developments that will benefit or adversely affect your business.

Market Strategies
Market strategies are the result of a meticulous market analysis. A market analysis forces the entrepreneur to become familiar with all aspects of the market so that the target market can be defined and the company can be positioned in order to garner its share of sales.

Competitive Analysis
The purpose of the competitive analysis is to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the competitors within your market, strategies that will provide you with a distinct advantage, the barriers that can be developed in order to prevent competition from entering your market, and any weaknesses that can be exploited within the product development cycle.

Design & Development Plan
The purpose of the design and development plan section is to provide investors with a description of the product's design, chart its development within the context of production, marketing and the company itself, and create a development budget that will enable the company to reach its goals.

Operations & Management Plan
The operations and management plan are designed to describe just how the business functions on a continuing basis. The operations plan will highlight the logistics of the organization such as the various responsibilities of the management team, the tasks assigned to each division within the company, and capital and expense requirements related to the operations of the business.

Financial Factors
Financial data is always at the back of the business plan, but that doesn't mean it's any less important than a up-front material such as the business concept and the management team.
